The itera application for ChatGPT provides users with read-only access to their own vehicle telemetry and GPS monitoring data from the itera platform.

Data Processed / Обрабатываемые данные

• User-provided itera API key used solely for authentication and secure token exchange;
• Vehicle metadata, location coordinates, trips, parkings, stops, fuel levels, and telemetry stats requested by the user;
• Standard HTTP access logs without API keys, OAuth tokens, or session secrets.

Data Usage / Использование данных

Data is retrieved directly from monitoring.itera.by upon explicit user request and returned to ChatGPT via the Model Context Protocol. itera does not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Data Retention / Хранение данных

The API key is securely encrypted inside signed OAuth tokens and is never stored in plain text or saved to persistent database tables. Access tokens expire within 1 hour; refresh tokens expire within 30 days. Users can revoke access at any time.

Security / Безопасность

All communication is encrypted via HTTPS. OAuth 2.0 with PKCE (RFC 7636) is enforced. All tool actions operate in read-only mode.
